BioShock 2 loses subtitle again
Sea of Dreams was name of trailer.
2K Games is once more claiming that BioShock 2 will not carry the Sea of Dreams subtitle.
"We name most of our trailers at 2K and the name of the teaser trailer we released last October for BioShock 2 is called Sea of Dreams," spokesperson Charlie Sinhaseni told IGN.
"There was talk about adding that as an official subtitle, but we decided to simply keep it BioShock 2. We're sorry for the confusion, but we're glad people are so interested."
This follows first the dropping and subsequent reinstating of the Sea of Dreams subtitle late last month. Oh what a carry on.
BioShock 2 is being developed by 2K Marin - not 2K Boston (the original team) - for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Players are cast as a prototype Big Daddy and choose between protecting or harvesting Little Sisters - girls stolen from nearby coastal towns by the wicked Big Sister. That much we know for now, but expect more news soon.

I don't see why they are making such a fuss about a subtitle, though, they're rarely ever memorable.
Does anyone remember Unreal 2 was subtitled 'The Awakening'
Or that Max payne 2 was subtitled 'The Fall of Max Payne'
Or that Baldur's gate 2 was called 'Shadows of Amn'
I can only think of one series where the subtitle actually matters, The Elder Scrolls, and in that case, conversely, nobody normally bothers with the series name.

We're not interested. We just want to know more about the actual game.

All the GTAIV trailers were named. "Looking for that special someone" was one of them. Think The Lost and Damned trailer(s) were named too.

climb down (remove subtitle)

The last two I certainly did/do remember the subtitles, can't say the same for Unreal 2 though.... does that make me sad?

No it just means that you have the ability to ignore a BS subtitle when you see one.
