BioShock 2 multiplayer patch soon

Freezing stopped, connectivity smoothed.

A multiplayer patch to fix various BioShock 2 multiplayer niggles is "in the final stages of testing".

That's according to a post made by 2K community manager "2K Elizabeth" (caught by VG247)

Bizarrely, that post has since disappeared. 2K Games is investigating.

Top priority for the patch is to fix MP game freezes and connection issues for all three versions - PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 - of the game. Lobbies are being stabilised, too.

The list of PC fixes stretches on longer than for the console games. Issues like colourblind-friendly hacking games and HUD scalability are included.

Look out for the full patch notes and a concrete date soon.
