My first instinct was to complain that it now appears to be first-person, but on reflection the reinvention of Metroid hardly hurt the game. Actually, I'm surprised it's taken this long to dust the franchise off! The C64 conversion was big news when I were a lad.

Fantastic sense of scale in those urban environments.

Never really enjoyed the C64 version of the original - it was way too hard for me, but this looks like it could be really good.

Its third person not an fps. You know the difference right?

I love all of Capcoms efforts this generation and i have no doubth this will be great even if capcom really isnt making the game themselves. I think GRIN will do a great job.
