BF Bad Company getting Trophies
Plus, Conquest election winners.
EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield: Bad Company will be patched with Trophy support on PlayStation 3 during a future round of fixes.
Meanwhile, PS3 and 360 owners will soon be able to access the three weapons given out exclusively to pre-orders, newsletter sign-ups and demo users for free.
Announced yesterday, albeit quietly, forthcoming Bad Company updates will also address server lag, dog tag lag and PS3 VOIP issues, among other tweaks.
The developers are also currently hard at work at transforming the winner of the Battlefield: Bad Company Cast Your Vote thing into a Conquer map fit for a new map pack. Par for the Course and Acta Non Verba were the winning maps after more than 36,000 votes were cast.

I was thinking about this the other day. Didn't really get the feeling devs were lining up to add content to old games.
Now for MGS, Ratchet and GTA please.

Pity really as otherwise it's the probably the best Battlefield game since 1942.
If you're thinking of getting it i'd wait and see how the patch goes. Their track record is atrocious (I gave up on BF2 after their cack handed no-bug fixing patches finally broke the game).

I thought trophies were coming to MGS. Thoroughly enjoyed it, not sure if I'd go through again just for trophies though.

Cool. I actually stopped my second playthrough just for that.
There where so many cool bits I can take another round.

I've actually already played through the bike chase scene a couple of times just for the hell of it, but I was waiting for trophies for a full second play-through.
As for Bad Company, bought this the other day in Morrisons half price sale. It's pretty good, but I wasn't convinced to pay full price. Not tried online yet, and by the sounds of it it's worth waiting for this patch...

i had to ditch call of duty, RB6 vegas, GRAW to name but a few, as they were simply unplayable, but now i can at least play something online.
acta non verba and par for the course. good choices, all in all, though if it really was down to a vote, which implies that any of the maps could have been made multiplayer, wouldnt you have a team working on all of them anyway? its a couple of extra maps, that you have already spent hours building, simply converted to multiplayer. prolongs the life of the game, which is a problem at the moment.
