I bought this for my 32GB Touch and very happy with it. Ok, no difference or improvements compared to other versions, but still a classic and well worth the price IMO :)

Yeah, the reasoning seems a bit odd. Shouldn't a score reflect on wether the prospect of playing the game is appealing and fun, rather than be an assessment on whether or not it's "worth it" (whatever that means) when compared to the Live Arcade version? Surely, the Live Arcade version will probably be unavailable while on the loo or on the tube?

Bit harsh. It's a great puzzler. Been playing Aurora Feint more though (which is free btw).

Aurora Feint makes this a pointless purchase.

It doesn't save your high score? What the hell?! The mind boggles...

Trism. Brilliant - puts this to shame.

I'm not really sure why you say Apple is taking this mobile gaming thing seriously just because it has Bejewelled on their store. It's down to the developers to decide to develop for the platform, not Apple. I mean I'm sure they've asked certain people, such as Sega or whatever, but most of the rest are jumping on board of their own accord.

There is a free web-based Bejewelled game built for the iPhone & Touch already - I think it's even Popcap who host it.

It's not got all of the bells and whistles of this "proper" version but the core game is still there.

As Prox said, just go to http://www.popcap.com on the iPhone/iPod Touch for a nice free web-version of Bejeweled 1.

Its not amazing, but it does the job and the price is right...

I'd second Trism, brilliant game, at least in the puzzle based Syllogism mode.

Aurora Feint, far better. Not just because it is free either.
