Beau Bridges to star in Max Payne film

He'll play our hero's mentor.

Beau Bridges, star of Stargate SG-1, The Fabulous Baker Boys and being Jeff Bridges' brother, has signed up to appear in the forthcoming Max Payne movie.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bridges will play ex-cop B. B. Hensley. He will be Max Payne's mentor and help him find a naughty killer.

As previously reported, "Marky" Mark Wahlberg will play the title role and Mila Kunis from Family Guy will also star.

Filming began earlier this month in Toronto. The Max Payne movie is being directed by John Moore, who also did The Omen remake, Flight of the Phoenix and Behind Enemy Lines.
