Beaterator now available for iPhone

Make your own music with Timbaland.

Rockstar has announced the release of Rockstar Games and Timbaland present Beaterator for iPhone and iPod Touch.

The music-making application is priced at £2.99. It allows you to construct songs, remix preloaded ones and upload tracks to the Rockstar Games Social Club. Super-producer Timbaland was involved with the app's development and will help guide you through the process.

    Am assuming this is a cut down version for £2.99? PSP version cost a bit more than that....

    i paid £29 for luminess on my PSP afew years ago. picked it up on the iphone for £3 last week....same game

    Shame it's quite so broken on the iPhone. :( Hopefully this'll be a better translation.

    It's not the "full thing" in so much as Studio mode has been dropped as far as I know. Still, not bad for 3 quid..

    If Studio mode has been removed, does anyone have any info as to what the iPhone release does contain?

    Mainly concerned with being able to create my own loops as opposed to being stuck using the stock built-in ones. Is that feature in the iPhone version?

    Yeah, there are several robust and full-featured music creation tools available for the iPhone, but Beaterator isn't one of them. Even the interface looks like shit in comparison to the PSP version.
