Bayonetta to get global autumn release News

SEGA has announced a worldwide release date of autumn for PS3 and 360 action game Bayonetta.

Developed by Platinum Games (MadWorld, former Clover Studio staff), Bayonetta follows the rampant adventures of a witch who wears skimpy leather outfits and kicks people in the face with pointy-heeled shoes.

She also has guns and swords, and swans around in much the same way as Dante from Devil May Cry, which is no surprise - DMC creator Hideki Kamiya is making Bayonetta. He also promises sadistic levels of difficulty.

Can't get over the impression that this is just a sexploitative version of Devil May Cry, despite Platinum's insistence that it isn't.

Still, the latest shots look very impressive, will wait and see what it brings come this Autumn.

It looks idiotic and also potentially great fun. So, Bullet Witch, Bayonetta... what gun derived action heroine will we have next? I'm thinking Bipod-mount-essa, Stock Girl, Picatinny Jane, Bolt Action Betty, Cartridge Extractina, Miss Muzzle Brake and Flash Suppressoria.

This game further shows the creators who set up platinum games have no ideas left in the tank. God Hand creator made MadWorld similiar concept different setting but the same premise beat dudes up by comboing them, now we have bayanetta which is devil may cry.

Come up with some fun games, if MadWorld is anything to go by the best thing will the story and the rest of the game will be shit
