Batman: Arkham Asylum delayed
Won't be out till "late summer" now.
Eidos has confirmed the release date for Batman: Arkham Asylum has been delayed.
The game, which is in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, had been due to launch in June. But US website Game Informer reported the date had shifted to Q4.
Eidos has since issued a statement saying, "Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can today confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released at the end of summer 2009."
So why the delay? "This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers," according to Eidos.
In the meantime, you can find all manner of previews, screenshots and videos over on the gamepage.

... Actually, that's perfect. I don't play games in the summer anyway, and this gives me more time for InFamous and Wolverine. Suddenly us superhero fetishists have too many good games on our hands, that's probably a first.
