BAFTA shortlist revealed for public vote

Batman? Uncharted? FIFA? You decide.

The shortlist for the BAFTA GAME Award of 2009 has been announced, and you lot decide who wins.

This is the only award to be voted for by the public, and the titles range from multi-million seller Modern Warfare 2 to people's favourite Uncharted 2 and Eurogamer office favourite FIFA 10. Or perhaps you like Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Last year over 60,000 people voted for the award, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was crowned as winner.

Get voting on the official BAFTA Game Award website. The results will be announced at the glitzy BAFTA ceremony on 19th March.

Comedian Dara O'Briain is hosting the event and he actually likes games don't you know. "I am delighted to have been asked back to host the GAME BAFTA's for the second year running. It's an honour to acclaim the very real people whose creativity, innovation and wit produce such amazing virtual worlds," he said, not making any jokes.
