Bad Company 2 demo hits 3.5m downloads
Plus technical details on the PC version.
EA has tweeted that the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo has been downloaded more than 3.5 million times on PS3 and Xbox 360 combined.
The full game's due out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 5th March.
Meanwhile, DICE's Johan Andersson has updated the game's official blog with detailed information on the PC version.
There he explained that the game supports DirectX 9, 10 and 11, AMD Eyefinity for up to six monitors and other things probably only Digital Foundry understands.
NVIDIA 3D Vision support is also planned, but will follow release in a patch.
Look out for our Bad Company 2 review next week.

I hope the final version is a lot more polished, for one thing - I'd love to get rid of the screen tearing (the vsync ption seems to make little difference). There's also no sprint-strafe, and mouse control feels floaty.
Great time to be a PC gamer, I suppose (when nearly every single developer on the planet is focused primarily on consoles)...

One difference is that the servers should work from day 1, I remember when I got on frontlines and the official servers were unplayable for about 2 weeks, after that I gave up on the game.
Nice game but just horribly supported when the game launched which killed it.

Same with me pre-bought on steam and you can't cancel!
Really hope the issues are sorted didn't really like the feel to it, although blowing stuff up was a laugh.

There's nothing more satisfying than collapsing a house full of enemy players.
