Atari shouts about Horses

New equestrian lifestlye game.

Atari has announced that My Horse and Me will be appearing on PC, Wii and DS this autumn. But I won't actually be in it, there's neigh way.

This equestrian outing is the best ever, apparently, and features licensed access to all the top horsey organisations around the world.

There will be mini-games to go alongside the fiercely competitive Championship mode - where you'll compete in anywhere from rustic stables to top-draw venues - plus extensive customisation options to ensure you don't look like everyone else.

You'll even be able to personally care for your horsey, giving your stallion a quick brush off in the stables afterwards, for example.

"With a number of horse-related games already on the market, we listened closely to the horse-riding audience and saw an opportunity to portray the horse riding lifestyle much more authentically," said Cyril Voiron, marketing stallion [check this please - Ed] for Atari.

"The game's depiction of these noble animals, and the lifestyle associated with them, is uniquely accurate and enchanting, and will win the heart of any horse enthusiast."

W!Games is handling the development of the Wii and PC versions, claiming to offer first and third-person perspectives for the first time in the genre - while Mistic is being called upon to produce the DS outing.
