Atari announces new Mizuguchi game
Plus Rez/Lumines/E4 compilation disc.
Q Entertainment's Tetsuya Mizuguchi is developing a new Wii music game for Atari, the publisher said today. The game currently goes by the working title "QJ".
Atari, which is holding a winter press event this afternoon, also just announced that it plans to release a boxed compilation disc consisting of Rez HD, Lumines Live and Every Extend Extra Extreme including all available downloadable content.
The Xbox 360 release will be known as Q3 - pronounced "Cubed" - and will retail for around EUR 30 upon release.
We'll let you know more as we hear it, but we can at least assume both products will be out in 2009, after Infogrames president Phil Harrison explained that the event would focus on next year's releases.

(p.s. not saying one console is better over another - just that 360 isn't really expensive now, so why not just buy one if you're that keen - other 360 exclusives more than justify the purchase, surely???)

Didn't he say he was also working on a 360 project, by the way? What happened to that?

If for no other reason than the original had mouse support, which is obviously lacking in the 360 version(Because MS are tards)

Dude, that is so weird...
That said..., I bought 2 copies of Banjo N&B, because I think Rare deserves better than poor sales (I hope my 5 year-old nephew enjoys it).

I'm no fanboy, but until it's confirmed that Jasper finally offers an acceptable solution to the 360's fundamental design flaw, I'm just gonna have to continue living without one and hoping PS3 gets all the 360 releases which I'd like to play. I can more than happily live without Microsoft's own output like Halo.

Just for Rez? I mean, some of us are quite content with the consoles we have, but might want one or two games on another format. Certainly being a university student, I can't afford to run out and buy a 360 on a whim... I just about manage to purchase one Wii/PS3 game every 2-3 months. A £9.99 PSN release would be affordable even for myself, however.
