Year of the Dead 2003

Sega slips another one past Christmas

Source - Official Xbox Magazine

Those cheeky Sega people. Not content with slipping our potentially beloved Panzer Dragoon Orta beyond the festive season, European distributor Infogrames has confirmed that House of the Dead 3 will also appear sometime in 2003 and not during 2002 as had been anticipated. As with Panzer Dragoon, Sega wants more time to polish the games. Related Feature - House of the Dead 3 screenshots

I'm looking forward to the part after about 15 minutes where they've run out of ideas and recycle all of the boss monsters for you to fight, one after another.

    Oh wait, no I'm not.

Que someone with that Myamoto quote about "a rushed game is rushed forever" or something. Which I do agree with.

I've seen that quote banded around this week like a paper bag in a storm. Where's it coming from!!!!!

    He's right of course.

Or maybe they figured out that nobody ever buys lightgun games, they only ever rent them. Mainly because you can finish them in about 20 minutes.

    i have to disagree!!

Virtua cop and Vcop2 on the saturn was well worth buying 2 guns for!!!!

wouldnt do it for anything else tho. especially house of the dead!

"Who said Xbox is an easy system to develop for...?"

What a nieve person. Just because it was delayed doesn't mean it was because of the ease of development. I'll guess this game was delayed because they decided to ditch the cel-shading at a late point in the development cycle and had to rework a lot of things... but you're way too ignorant to even consider that. And the answer to your question is the developers.

I wouldn't normally comment but seeing as it's your favourite word you might as well spell it right...

I was being provocative (and ironic). Some people even seemed to understand it...

edit: removed some name-calling. There's no need to go down to some levels.
