ArmA II expansion gets worldwide date
End of June for Operation Arrowhead.
Bohemia Interactive has confirmed to Eurogamer that ArmA II expansion Operation Arrowhead will be released worldwide on 29th June.
The expansion is set three years after the events of the main game and sees players fighting in the streets and mountains of Takistan.
Despite being an expansion Operation Arrowhead is a standalone effort.

The latest patch 1.05 has fixed most of the problems, and the game runs very smoothly now, it gave it a big performance boost. Not everything is fixed obviously as its BIS, but its more than playable and worth the money imo.

Or do you still have to do it yourself?

The update 1.05 is compatible with the steam version but it seems you still have to do it yourself. You should look at this page if you already haven't: [link url=http://www.arma2.com/support/updates/folder.html

However you can't use the autoupdate if you install this patch on the steam version.
