Antipodes get WAR when we do News

MMO PC News by Oli Welsh

16 May, 2008

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia will get Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning at the same time as the US and Europe.

That time will be in autumn this year.

By Southeast Asia, EA means Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. It seems that MMO heartlands China and South Korea may have to wait a little longer for the game.

The region will get its own dedicated server in Australia, which should improve the lag situation for the region's Warhammer enthusiasts, although there will be an option for playing on North American servers if you prefer to hang with the Yanks.

I still think this is going to slip into next early next year, what with AoC next week, WoW: WotLK looking like an Autumn release as well, part of me thinks they'll take the extra time and give it a lot of polish (from the beta, it needed it.)

tbh, their graphic engine needs a major rework. Just look at the screenshots, it looks rather outdated.
