Yours for just 400 Microsoft Points.

Side-scrolling shooter Alien Hominid HD will be available for half the usual price on Xbox Live Arcade this week.

From today it'll cost 400 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80) instead of the usual 800. As an added bonus, obtain one achievement and you'll unlock the Alien as a playable character in Castle Crashers.

It's a great game if you like having your arse handed back to you on a plate every 2 minutes of game play.

Certainly well worth 400 points though!

Why don't they reduce the price forever instead of just for one week; and why is it only for Gold subs. I'd have probably bought this, but not this week since I won't beable to get any points this week and I'm not getting a month of Gold as well just for this.
