It's a story driven action-rpg single player game, with online end-game content.
There's more information on their website, and it's slated for release on PC in the first half of 2006.

Remember that here in the north, it can get pretty foggy, depending of the time of year...maybe Funcom have implemented such a function as well? That is pure speculation, however.
These may be the first screenshots that have really made me proud of my country (oh yes; Funcom is NORWEGIAN! Yay!).

The environments look good, and it seems to have a style of its own. Characters all look a bit similar, but I guess that's something they'll iron out as they approach launch. Caution though, as apparently Funcom support for mmos (ala AO) leaves much to be desired.
