UK Charts: Brian Lara Cricket holds top spot
Top three maintain as several titles see a resurgence of sales.
The top three have remained strong in the UK charts, as Codemasters' Brian Lara has held its number one position in the UK, as did Activision's movie licenses, Madagascar, and Fantastic 4 in their respective two and three positions.
THQ's Juiced saw a prominent surge of interest, taking the number four position after a prior week at number eight, with the biggest benefactors of the week coming in the shape of Codemasters title, Worms 4: Mayhem, which rose from 24 to number 11, while Empire's budget title Sonic 3D re-entered the top 40 at number 13.
Meanwhile, Giant and Eidos' Lego Star Wars suffered, dropping six places to number 12 and Activision's Call of Duty: Finest Hour faded from its promotional surge, going from number 14 to number 20.
Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 4 saw a small leap from number 11 to number nine, but Eidos management sim Championship Manager 5 slid from number 15 to 17.
A lack of strong new titles in the week meant more of a minor shuffle for many charted games rather than any new entrances in the top 20 at all, although the launch of Sega's Super Monkey Ball Deluxe on Xbox and PlayStation 2, Resident Evil Outbreak: File 2 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike on Xbox by Ubisoft are expected to have a strong showing this week.
