Yes, Gouki, that has such great relevance in a Blizzard story.

I'd much rather have a well reported bit of news a day late, than a rushed together couple of sentences a few minutes after a story breaks.

Else I'd watch Fox News. ;-)

Gouki, if you are so confident of your ability to report the news before anybody else, why don't you create your own site?

If not... stop whining like a 5 year old.

Seriously, who cares about some game already being shipped somewhere? It has no relevance for anyone anywhere. Reading a report about a games-related social event is much more interesting in my opinion. Even though I don't like Blizzard's games.

Great Article, I wouldn't mind attending an event like the Blizzcon.

eurogamer is a fantastic website, clean easy to use layout/design and the menu is spot on.Great Article, I wouldn't mind attending an event like the Blizzcon.

Eurogamer is a fantastic website, clean, easy to use layout/design and the menu is spot on.

But what I must say is that the site is lacking in SOOOOOOO! many key features!

user profiles? how sh1te are they?!

Downloads, only torrents? thats no good!

many more I will post in the forums

eurogamer, sack one of your writers and that will generate the money to pay for upgrades which are NEEDED!

"Natural disaster in 12 hours please get out of your city viewers....!
oooops the news reported it a day late "

Would it be rude to suggest that you lack a little perspective in making this comparison?

Slurpy: Actually, it smelt very clean. I was expecting a sort of comic-con stench, but was extremely well ventilated.

*shrug* I was really meaning in the context of games news, rather than more life-threatening news.

In which way has your metaphorical gaming house be flooded?

Edit: I was actually mocking Gouki, not you, by the way. Your comment is fine.

(The reason why this went up is this was written last week)

I notice you don't actually say the people weren't minging, you just say the ventilation was good...

Jesus, you winging whining muppet.

"oooops the news reported it a day late
Also its not exactly breaking its over 24 hours late."

The key difference there is that a natural disaster would be something important. Finding out that XB360 games can be preordered a few hours later than some other games site resported it is hardly important is it. Especially given you can't actually buy the console on which youw ould play the games. Correction, it shouldn't be important, but for some unusual individuals it clearly is.

As for people "putting the work in". This site is free, so cut them some slack for f*cks sake. Don't even begin to compare some of the illiterate toss over at IGN to these pages (I know you didn't mention IGN, I am pre-empting you). If I have to wait a couple of hours to read an article that wasn't seemingly written by a word processor being stuffed up a stampeding cow's bum along with a handful of marbles, then I am pleased, nay delighted, to do so.

Ah the Murlocs, such a bullied and threatened species. Really, the animosity towards these innocent little fellows is barbaric!

Nice piece, made me want to be there, in full geek regalia :)

Gouki: I'd rather read this piece, a feature piece, than news about xbox 360 pre-orders being taken. It's hardly surprising given that it's launching early next month, and as you seem to already know the news, what's the fuss about?

Gouki: "Whinge, whinge, Xbos fan boy, whinge whinge", followed by completely irrelevant point about natural disasters.

Muppets theme music springs to mind

Perry: click ignore poster, thinks, gee what a Wayne-Kerr - don't need fools like that spoiling a great site.

One of the best things here in Eurogamer's reader comments is that all injustice evens out in a matter of minutes. How I wish that happened more often in the real world.

Edit: Shall I get sushi for lunch or just make myself another sandwich?

Did you see Keven Periera there? Actually, you've probably never heard of him, but he was carrying a G4 microphone since he's a host on the American games channel. Anyway, he did a funny story about Murloc bashing. He asked someone from Blizzard if allowing people to have Murloc pets wasn't just slavery by another name, and when they guy said not really he said maybe you prefer the term indentured servants, hehe.
