Wipe, AKA Party Wipe (Pwipe) or Raid Wipe: A group screwup so bad that the entire party is killed, the end, run back to your corpses. Common occurrence on bosses, but usually happens on trash mobs (Such as the Core Hounds) if the group is ill-prepared/stupid.

Generally, you can also get partial wipes where some, if not most, of the group is killed but some are left standing. If, however, none of those still standing are capable of resurrecting dead party members, then it may also be considered a full wipe for the purposes of the term. And the survivors demonstrate great resilience and tenacity in the face of death, as well as extreme cowardice.
