3DR releases Duke screenshot
Sticks it on top of a job advert.
Still keeping an eye out for Duke Nukem Forever? Then step this way for what 3D Realms has confirmed is an in-game screenshot.
It's posted atop a job advert on the Gamasutra website (the page itself seeks a programmer), and features a muscle-bound Duke pointing a couple of guns at something. Company president George Broussard popped up late last week to confirm its legitimacy.
"Yes, that was me and that's an in-game, real-time shot of Duke standing in a random hallway. I just stuck it on a Gamasutra ad to make it stand out from the sea of company logos and maybe act as a small teaser," he said, wading into a massive thread on 3D Realms' forum.
"I'm glad some of you enjoyed it, and we'll show more later as we start to wake from our slumber and decide how best to show the game off," he added.

And hopefully it has as much interactivity with the surroundings as the original ones because that's what sold Duke for me in the first place. Like flushing the toilets
Xerx3s: It has always puzzled me that other news sites work in the weekends as well while EG just shuts down on friday at 1700. :/

Yeah, EG is doing it the right way. Job is not the only thing in the world.

If you're gonna nitpick; finish the job.

Another thing is, when its released its never going to look like its been worth the wait, a game with no deadline will simply update to the latest tech that comes out, male 20% of the game then have to restart when some other new tech is released. A harsh circle!

And by 'soon', I mean somewhere around the year 2025.

My memory on this is REAL hazy because the last time I saw that film was years and years ago when it was on ITV late at night (I think).
The original quote is something like...
"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass........ and I'm all outta bubblegum"
The beginning line got changed a bit for DN3D, but I think Duke's version works a lot better.
Still couldn't give a shit about DNF though. No offence to its dedicated fans like, but its not the kinda game I get excited about.

Its just a game after all and so many have been released since its conception,so many will have been released before its release and so many will be released upon its release that now its just but another game.
