Pokémon Go Easter Eggstravaganza event - Egg list, start date, end date and bonus Stardust and Candy explained

All the details surrounding Pokémon Go's Easter event, from bonus Candy to new 2km Egg Pokémon.

Pokémon Go's Easter Eggstravaganza event starts a little earlier this year, and ends at the start of April, bringing with it the expected new Egg list changes but also a slightly different bonus to Stardust and Candy.

While it's currently unknown which rarer creatures exactly are going to be in the event, below we'll list all the confirmed and probable Pokémon we can expect to start hatching from 2km Eggs, as well as those that were available last year so that you can make an educated guess until we find out for certain.

We'll also note the Easter Event start date and end date, along with all of the bonuses featured in the event, like bonus Stardust and Candy, and will update this page when we have the confirmed info on hatches, so stay tuned!

When does the Pokémon Go Easter Eggstravaganza event start and end?

The Easter Eggstravaganza event will arrive in Pokémon Go on March 22nd and will end on April 2nd at the following times on each day:

  • UK: 9pm (BST)
  • Europe: 10pm (CEST)
  • East Coast US: 4pm (EST)
  • West Coast US: 1pm (PDT)

Pokémon Go's Easter Eggstravaganza event details - new Egg list, bonus Stardust and Candy explained

Here's what changes during the Easter event:

  • Introduces new creatures in 2km Eggs
  • Increase Candy drops from all Egg hatches only
  • Double Stardust from all sources, with Star Pieces doubling again for 4x gains
  • Limited store boxes including Star Pieces and Super Incubators

The headline activity in this seasonal event is that a "greater variety of Pokémon" will start appearing in 2km eggs.

So far there's no confirmation of which new Pokémon are set to appear, other than the Wynaut and Ralts mentioned in the official press release and the Magby and Togepi in the official imagery. There's also a mention of an "increased hatch rate for Pichu and Togepi," so expect all of the baby Pokémon to be in 2km Eggs, then, at the very least.

We'll update this page when we have a confirmed list, but for now we do know which Pokémon were added to 2km Eggs last year, at least. Here's the full list, so you have an idea of what we can (hopefully) expect:
