Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Festival - dates and rewards for the first seasonal event

Everything you need to know about Monster Hunter World's Sprint Blossom Fest.

The Monster Hunter World Sprint Blossom Festival is the first seasonal event to be added to the game.

Taking place in April, the event gives the Astera hub a makeover, and offers a number of time-limited activities for the duration.

Elsewhere, our Monster Hunter World tips can help you decide when to farm, what to forage and what to do between hunts, and our Monster Hunter World walkthrough and guide can help with main quest and story progress.

Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Festival start and end date

The Spring Blossom Festival will take place between Friday, 6th April and Thursday, 19th April, starting and ending at the following times:

  • UK: Midnight (BST)
  • Europe: 1am (CEST)
  • East Coast US: 8pm (EDT)
  • West Coast US: 5pm (PDT)

It's suspected a patch will be made available beforehand, so ensure Monster Hunter World is updated to the latest version to make sure you can take part. Like the Deviljho Spring update, it will be available for free.

What is the Spring Blossom Festival in Monster Hunter World?

While the seasonal event is on, the following changes and additions will take place:

  • The Astera hub will be given a makeover, complete with dressed-up townspeople, fireworks, and a Poogie flower display in the middle of the town.
  • Previously released quests will be available once again. The specifics on this are vague - Capcom also added "some exceptions apply" - so perhaps we'll see more along the lines of the Wiggler Head quest than the Horizon Zero Dawn event.
  • There will be a new "special platter" available during the event.
  • Lucky Vouchers will increase from one to two per day for the duration of the event.

There's plenty of optional stuff - such as Grimalkynes and Doodles, helping unlock Plunderblade and Gajalaka quests - as well as the some new updates coming soon, including the Deviljho release and Spring Blossom Festival.

The event looks to be a good opportunity to replay events you might have missed, or replay anything particularly lucrative, which is a perfect use for the additional Lucky Vouchers you'll be accumulating!
