Zelda - Keive Tala, Big or Small solution in Breath of the Wild DLC 2

How to complete DLC 2 trial Keive Tala.

Keive Tala, Big or Small is a challenge as part of The Champions' Ballad, which is the main quest in Zelda: Breath of the Wild's second DLC.

It is part of EX Champion Urbosa's Song, which you'll tackle halfway through the DLC.

Where to find Keive Tala

To begin the first trial, head to Gerudo Town and speak to Teake - you'll find her just outside the doors to the palace. While you're here, grab some Shock Arrows from the nearby vendor (you'll need them shortly). When you're done, head to the marker show in the screenshot - it's located just south of the East Barrens.

Look for a two-tiered rock - if it's in the day or evening you should see the smoke from a campfire to make it easier to spot. Climb to the top, speak to Traysi and change the time at the campfire to night (to avoid any high temperatures that could unnecessarily chip away at your health). Now it's time to take on the Molduking in this area.

You'll see it moving underneath the sand, where it will periodically burst out from the dunes like a whale. To get its attention, throw a Remote Bomb and - if he's near enough - a question mark will appear above his head.

He'll then swim over, and swallow the bomb. Detonate to stun him, then either a) pepper him with Shock Arrows, b) hit him with a shock-related blade or run up and strike him with Urbosa's Fury. He's very weak to shock attacks so use this against him.

Rinse this method to defeat him, but beware he can kill you in one shot so don't get greedy with the melee hits. When he's dead, loot all the treasure chests then enter the shrine that appears on the lower tier of the rock outcrop.

Keive Tala, Big or Small solution

In the shrine - Big or Small - you'll need to connect one long electrical circuit to open up the gate to the Monk. To do this, use one of the small metal boxes in the first alcove to the left to electrify the water and connect the two chained balls.

Next, use the other small metal box next to the orange switch to make the lift rise to its apex. Now pull the box away to freeze the lift in this position, then place the box on top to continue the circuit.

Next, use Magnesis to wrap the giant ball on a chain around the metal spike to the right of the one its hanging from.

This will take the circuit on further. Finally, raise a pillar of ice with Cryonis beneath the final metal spike, then grab the large metal box in the alcove and place it on top. This will complete the circuit, granting you access to the Monk and the first emblem for this song.
