Zelda - Shira Gomar, Aim for Stillness solution in Breath of the Wild DLC 2

How to complete DLC 2 trial Shira Gomar.

Shira Gomar, Aim for Stillness is a challenge as part of The Champions' Ballad, which is the main quest in Zelda: Breath of the Wild's second DLC.

It is part of EX Champion Revali's Song, which you'll tackle halfway through the DLC.

If you're after help for the main game itself, then consult our Zelda: Breath of the Wild walkthrough and guide.

Where to find Shira Gomar

Head on over to the Rito Village, ascend its winding stairs and speak to Rito Elder Kaneli. He'll now be able to tell you about a mysterious dragon that's been circling the region. Apparently its been sighted at Tarangar Canyon, so head to the point on the map shown in our screenshot and you should find a rito sat by a campfire.

He'll explain that he's been tasked with looking out for the dragon, and that its horns glow in a strange way at night. In order to ensure the dragon passes at the right time, you'll need to sit and campfire and select 'Morning'.

Now sit down and select 'Night'. The rito will now be stood overlooking the canyon. In the distance, the dragon will be winging its way to you. Before it reaches you, its horns should begin to glow.

Now leap off the edge of the canyon and glide towards the dragon's head. There should be rush of wind to carry you up, get high enough then aim with your bow to slow down time. Hit its horns with at least one arrow (doesn't matter which type) and the dragon will flee.

Oh, and a shrine will pop up on the other side of the canyon. Your stamina will be refilled once you regain control of Link so glide over to start this shrine.

Shira Gomar, Aim for Stillness solution

This shrine is all about gliding and using your abilities to open gates/blow up walls. It's actually easier than it sounds. The first section is really easy and simply requires you to glide from one platform to the other by using the fans and updrafts they create.

By this stage you should be a gliding pro. You'll eventually reach a fan in front of a wall - to proceed, place a bomb on the fan. It'll be lifted up in front of the wall, when its front of the breakable section, detonate with 'L'.

Use the fan to reach the next area, then the next set to reach the spinning platform.

Here you'll see two revolving gusts of wind, a turbine that opens and closes a gate and a far wall that's breakable. Use Stasis to freeze the turbine, the drop a bomb down one of the shutes and let the updraft carry it to the breakable wall (where you'll then detonate it).

Timing is crucial here, so freeze the turbine before the next fan spins into view. If you manage to break the wall, let Stasis recharge then freeze the fan when the gate is open. Then use one of the updrafts to glide over and through the opening.

Ride the last set of fans across the big chasm to the Monk at the other end.
