Resident Evil Revelations 2 - Ep 2: Explore the fishing village, fight invisible enemies, then return to town

We walk you through your return to the fishing village, offer tips on dealing with invisible bugs and see you safely back through town.

Once you've made it through the door requiring the Back Gate Key and entered the next area, head into the building on the right and grab the Ruby (250BP) from the barrel. Pass through the next door, then take a right. Follow the dirt path forwards and drop down the ledge at the end. A short distance on, you'll arrive at the fishing village featured earlier on in the episode.

Take a right and continue onward until you reach the small beach at the end of the path. There's a crate containing a Topaz (100BP) in the tall grass to the right. Next, turn around and focus your attention on the blue building ahead. Shoot the Tower Emblem perched up on the chimney above, then make your way over to the building itself. There's a small hole along the back wall, so switch to Natalia and pass through it.

How to kill the invisible enemies

Inside, grab the Smoke Powder and Alcohol from the shelves, the Fishing Village Map from the bed, the Empty Bottle from the stove and the 'Female Villager's Letter' document from the nearby table. Next, complete the unlocking mini-game to pilfer an Emerald (1000BP) from the small wooden chest. Finally, unlock the red door to proceed.

Back outside, switch to Barry then follow the dirt path to the left, heading deeper into the village. Now comes the fun part: invisible monsters! Once Barry draws his weapon, begin following Natalia's instructions to home in on the giant, invisible insect up ahead.

The easiest way to bring this thing down is to stand directly behind Natalia and fire a few shots in the direction her finger is pointing. After a couple of hits it should be dead. Try not to let it reach your position as its grab attack can be fatal.

Once it's out of the way, swipe the Green Herb from the yard directly ahead, then make your way inside the brown building with the blue windows to your left. Grab the Green Herb from the chest in the corner (as well as the 'Traveler's Diary' document on the shelf if you didn't see it earlier), then head back outside and return to the area where you fought the invisible monster.

Orientate yourself so that you're facing the blue building with the yellow roof, then take a right, passing by the brown hut on the left. Shortly, you'll encounter another invisible bug, so deal with it as before. Next, look for the building housing the bar - it's alongside the wooden shack with the yellow roof nearby.

Enter the bar, then take the Empty Bottle and the 'Pedro's Notes on the Bracelet' document from the counter. There's a wooden crate containing a Green Herb in the back room, a crate containing a Firebomb Bottle up the stairs, and a workbench in a corner, giving you the opportunity to equip your new-found Anti-Recoil Lv.1 upgrade.

Once you're ready, head out of the bar and take a right. As you reach the corner of the building, take another right. Work your way behind the steps and shoot the Tower Emblem lying in the grass at the end. Next, backtrack a little and climb the metal steps that you passed previously.

At the end of the walkway, you'll find a small wooden chest that Natalia can open to gain a Rare Parts Box. Use it at the workbench to equip the Daze Lv. 1 upgrade which increases your chances of stunning opponents. Exit the bar again, taking a left this time. Almost immediately, you'll be attacked by another invisible creature, so bring it down to proceed.

As you reach the end of the bar building, take a left and head toward the small metal platform at the end of the alleyway. Shimmy up, then clamber onto the grassy ledge nearby. From here, make your way around the back of the blue building ahead, hop over the fence and follow the path as it winds around toward the cliff's edge. Finally, head up the dirt track to the left until you reach the blue gates at the end. Use them to leave the area.

On the other side, climb the grassy slope and make your way through the large concrete barriers ahead. Follow the track around to the right, then work your way down into the tunnel. As the pathway bends left and widens out, deal with the pig creature that attacks. Next, take a right, heading up the incline, and take down two more pig mutants as they pounce from the shadows. Once you reach the top, turn left, head up the stone steps and use the blue door at the end.

Exploring the town again

As the rain begins to pour outside, make a right and head towards the sealed-off tunnel in the distance. There's a barrel on the ground nearby containing Handgun Ammo. Next, turn around and begin working your way toward the large blue doorway ahead. Grab the Smoke Powder in the tall grass just before the gates, then pass on through.

In the next alleyway, head around the corner to the right and take the first path to the left, leading through the gate where mutants attacked Claire and Moira earlier. You'll be set upon by two gangly freaks almost immediately. As per usual, start shooting off their limbs until you reveal their weak spots. One more hit to that area should finish them off for good.

When they're dead, continue down the alleyway and head through the blue doors at the end. Inside, make your way down the steps (the upper route requires a drill to proceed) and grab the Gunpowder in the alcove at the bottom. Next, slip into stealth mode and head through the door nearby. There's another long-limbed monster up ahead, so take it down from behind.

Once it's dead you can explore the room to reveal a Cloth and a Town Map on various shelves, as well as some hidden Magnum Ammo by the barrels in the corner. Be careful, however: there's a second mutant in the alleyway outside and if he spots you he'll move toward your position via the doorway up the steps at the back of the room.

To avoid him, remain in stealth mode and climb up the steps, pausing before entering the alley. Quickly switch to Natalia, gauge the creature's position using Awareness, then slip on out when the moment is right to strike the enemy from behind.

Next, follow the route to the right. As you round the corner, duck behind the crate and switch to stealth mode. There's another creature up ahead, so sneak forward and deal with it while its back is turned. Finally, proceed to the end of the alleyway and head on through the door.
