There are 24 Power Moons to find until you reach the end-game, with one involving Peach and then some more.

From the Swamp Hill checkpoint, posses a Wiggler, stretch to the first propelleor pillar, turn right, stretch to the platform, then collect the Moon from the next propellor pillar.

2. Below the Cliff's Edge

From the Swamp Hill checkpoint, drop back down to the lower platform with the exploding bugs. Go to the far side of the platform and look over the edge. A Moon will be on the yellow ledge below.

3. Inside the Stone Cage

From the Swamp Hill checkpoint, walk to the yellow stairs where you defeated the bird that stole Cappy. Look over the edge to see a tall step next to a very short one. Drop onto the tall one and do a Ground Pound. This will reveal a secret door, go inside to find a Moon.

4. On a Tree in the Swamp

From the Swamp Hill checkpoint, possess a Wiggler and walk around the edge of the yellow stairs in the purple gloop swamp. Stretch across the gap, then stretch over to the step closes to the tree. Quickly de_posses, Ground Pound the high middle step then re_posses the Wiggler. Use stretch to reach the Moon on the other side of the tree.

5. Over the Fuzzies, Above the Swamp

From the Mountainside Platform checkpoint, jump back to the platform at the bottom of the propeller pillar and posses the Wiggler. Stretch back to the checkpoint, stretch to the yellow moving platform, then move to both orange stumps. The Moon is on the far yellow platform.

6. Avoiding Fuzzies Inside the Wall

From the Mountainside Platform checkpoint, open the hat door and enter the Warp Pipe. Use the moving 2D platforms to avoid the Fuzzies and claim the Moon on the other side of this section.

7. Inside the Rising Stone Pillar

Just below the Swamp Hill checkpoint is a set of yellow stairs you need to Ground Pound in order to move so you reach that higher platform. On the side of the now tallest step is a Power Moon.

8. Enjoying the View of Forgotten isle

Climb the tree outside the Crazy Cap store to grab this easy to find Moon.

9. On the Mountain Road

From the Swamp Hill checkpoint, cross the propeller pillar to the opposite platform. Throw Cappy at the bug and stand by the stone blocks, jump out of the way at the last minute to destroy them. Repeat at second set of blocks (twice as there are two layers). Ground Pound the glowing ground to reveal this Moon.

Fourth one is on large stump, patrolled by Wiggler. Fifth one is on the other side of the far tree. Moon will appear on purple ledge where you started.

Possess Glydon near the Rocky Mountain Summit checkpoint. Turn slightly left and leap off. Glide over to the island and grab the Moon.

19. The Caged Gold

To get this sneaky Moon, use one of the exploding bugs on the platform below the Swamp Hill checkpoint. Guide the bug over so it's stood right against the edge of the wall. No stand on the yellow stone tower. Ensure that the you're in line with the cage behind you, now jump and throw your cap. Now duck. The bug should fly across the gap, hitting the cage, and freeing the prize.

De_possess, Ground Pound the top step to reverse the order. Re_posses then stretch over to the Cap to collect his prize.

24. Lost Kingdom Regular Cup

Beat the other Koopas in a race to the Rocky Mountain Summit to claim this Moon. Getting your timings right on jumps and Ground Pounds is key to winning this bout.

25. Peach in the Lost Kingdom

This Moon can only be found after completing the Story. Speak to Peach by the Rocky Mountain Summit checkpoint to collect her prize.

Other Lost Kingdom Power Moons you can unlock

As well as the above Moons that appear when you clear a Kingdom for the first time, there is yet another set that you can collect later in the game. Be warned the following contains some light spoilers.

When exploring each Kingdom previously, you may have noticed a giant, grey block that seemingly has no purpose. It's this object you must find once you have completed the game that'll give you even more things to do.

The above video by Nintendo Life explains this in more detail, but in short - complete the game, find the block in any given Kingdom, and more Moons will be available for you to find.

We won't detail these extra Moons here, but the number of these extra challenges available in each Kingdom varies - just like the amount of Moons you could find to begin with. Good luck!
