Super Mario Odyssey - Infiltrate Bowser's Castle and Start Bombing

How to complete the Bowser's Kingdom objective.

Infiltrate Bowser's Castle and Start Bombing are objectives you'll encounter most of the way through Super Mario Odyssey, which follow on from Super Mario Odyssey - Crumbleden, Battle with the Lord of Lightning!.

Infiltrate Bowser's Castle

From the Odyssey, run towards the big gates, which will open automatically.

Run straight through the group of Goombas, jump up onto the platform and use the Spark pylon to reach the next platform. Run over the checkpoint (Third Courtyard (Front)).

Hit the Pokio twice to possess it, then press 'Y' against the nearby wall to poke your beak into it. Now flick up, like a Pole, to reach higher ground. Repeat until you reach the top. Now use the Spark pylon to reach the Third Courtyard (Rear) checkpoint.

Jump over the barrier, turn right, jump over the gap (and through the gold rings) to land near a blocky enemy with a stone block. Dodge his slam attack, climb onto his head and do a Ground Pound to defeat him. A Moon (Infiltrate Bowser's Castle) will appear.

Smart Bombing

Climb the steps and pass through the open gates. Ride the Spark pylon to the Second Courtyard checkpoint. Collect the Moon Shard beneath the bomb hole, possess a Pokio, then take a right at the bomb hole. Follow the path to reveal a sunken platform with a Moon Shard over a brazier (watch out for Spinies).

Head back to the bomb hole, avoiding the bombs, and flip across the gap with the bomb hole at the bottom. Collect the third Moon Shard as you go. On the other side, aim one of the bombs with your poke to hit one of the crates against the far wall, revealing a Moon Shard.
