Mass Effect Andromeda - Nackmor Drack missions Krogan Betrayal, A Future for Our People

How to complete the squadmate's quests, including their Loyalty Mission.

Mass Effect Andromeda's Nackmor Drack is one of your squadmates that'll be exploring the new galaxy with, has several quests on offer along the way.

One of these is A Future for Our People, Drack's Loyalty Mission, a key optional mission recommended if you want to flesh out the character's story further.

A battered and bruised old-school Krogan, Drack is a useful ally in a fight and provides some light relief between missions - he's not as grumpy as he pretends!

14 things you need to try in Mass Effect AndromedaWatch on YouTube

Krogan Betrayal I

Find Spender on the Nexus, Talk to Kesh about Spender

Drack will ask to speak to you on the Nexus and reveal some suspicions he has about a crew member on the Nexus. Head over there and speak to Spender in the Ops Center, then talk to Kesh.

Speak with Kandros, Review Nexus security footage, Confront Spender about security footage

She'll mention some security footage, so talk to Kandros in Security, watch the footage, and return to confront Spender. The mission will now be put on hold, but will reactivate after you've completed a bit more of the game.

Krogan Betrayal II

Locate the planet mentioned in security footage, Talk to SAM on the Tempest

After speaking to Drack again, head to your quarters and speak to SAM who will direct you to a location on Kadara. Take the Tempest there, make your way to the Badlands, and head towards the mission marker.

Investigate Spender's Kadara connection, Defeat the exiles, Search the hideout for clues

When you reach your destination you'll be attacked by a small group of exiles. Take them down, and then head to the top floor of the structure to locate a Datapad on a desk near the far window before returning to the Nexus.

Search for a scrambler in Spender's room Make your way to Spender's quarters and use your scanner to locate the scrambler tucked behind the far end of the screen on the left hand wall; there are also a few logs to listen to in here if you want a bit of insight into what he's been up to.

Talk to the Comms officer, Speak to Drack on the Tempest Take the scrambler to the comms officer in Ops. Then return to the Tempest to speak to Drack.

A Future For Our People

Speak with Hark at the greenhouse

Head for Elaaden, grab yourself a Nomad, and make your way to the mission marker - try and keep in the shade while you're here as spending too long in direct sunlight can damage the Nomad and leave you stranded!

Talk to the Krogan guards and then make your way through the building and speak to Hark in the greenhouse.

Reach the krogan transport, Rescue Vorn

You'll now be taken to the outpost where you'll need to fend off a few more groups of exiles as you make your way towards the transport shuttle.

Secure the krogan transport, Release the docking clamps

When you finally arrive at the loading area you'll need to clear it of enemies before accessing the clamp controls on the upper walkway.

This will trigger two more waves of exiles - the first are simple ground troops, but the second wave features a Hydra mech with heavy armour.

It can deal punishing blows, but if you keep moving it won't be able to lock on to you so you may prefer to act as a distraction and let your squad deal the damage.

Once the area is clear you'll be given the choice of letting Drack kill Aroane or sparing him - as with other decisions in the game it's a little unclear whether there are long term consequences, so follow your conscience!

Return to Nexus control, Review evidence against Spender

Return to the Nexus. The comms officer will have decoded the data for you, so head to Security and read the messages before heading to Kesh's office.

Speak with Drack on the Nexus, Deal with Spender

Talk to Drack and then decide whether to exile or imprison Spender.

As well as the above missions, there are also Knock 'em Down, How to Act Tough, Firebreathing Thresher Maws and Clutch Moment. These aren't so much missions, just extended social interactions with Drack that are unlocked through general game progression - once one is triggered speaking to him will allow the scene to play out.
