The promising Tokyo 42 comes out later in May

PC and Xbox One first, then PS4.

Tokyo 42, the promising isometric open-world shooter, comes out on PC and Xbox One on 31st May. It launches on PlayStation 4 mid-July.

I've had my eye on Tokyo 42 for some time now, as it rekindles memories on one of my favourite games: Syndicate. You can spin the camera to see every angle of the micro Tokyo, and there's a lot of cool bullet physics, stealth and crowd simulation going on. There's also a single-player open-world story mode as well as multiplayer deathmatch arenas.

Edwin previewed Tokyo 42 back in March and came away impressed. The video, below, gives you an idea of what Tokyo 42 is all about.

Tokyo 42 is the work of SMAC Games, which is North London-based brothers Sean Wright and Maciek Strychalski. It's their first game.
