For Honor PC system requirements revealed

Is your machine brawny enough?

Ubisoft's handsome melee mauler For Honor now has official PC system requirements.

For a 1080p60 experience you will need the following:

  • OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K | AMD FX-6350 or equivalent
  • GPU: : Nvidia GeForce GTX680/GTX760/GTX970/GTX1060 with 2 GB VRAM or more | AMD Radeon R9 280X/R9 380/RX470 with 2 GB VRAM or more
  • RAM: 8GB

For a 720p30 experience you'll need:

  • OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • CPU:: Intel Core i3-550 | AMD Phenom II X4 955 or equivalent
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX660/GTX750ti/GTX950/GTX1050 with 2 GB VRAM or more | AMD Radeon HD6970/HD7870/R9 270/R9 370/RX460 with 2 GB VRAM or more
  • RAM: 4GB

The Ubisoft blog has a list of Nvidia/AMD graphics cards supported at release.

Xbox 360/One/Elite and PS4 controllers are supported, although the PS3 and Steam Controller are only partially supported.

We played and previewed For Honor's single-player and multiplayer recently. The single-player isn't up to much - it's more of a glorified tutorial - but the multiplayer makes up for it. We tried some of the new heroes and new modes in the video below.

For Honor launches Valentine's Day - 14th February - for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A closed beta test will run at the end of this coming week.
