Game based on Warhammer 40,000's Necromunda announced

From the developer behind Mordheim: City of the Damned.

Attention Warhammer 40,000 fans: there's a game based on the Necromunda tabletop game in the works.

There are no screenshots, so we'll have to make do with this piece of art, instead.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is the video game adaptation of the cult classic tabletop, and it's in development at Rogue Factor, the Canadian creator of the well-received Mordheim: City of the Damned. Focus Home Interactive is the publisher.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is a turn-based tactical RPG in which rival gangs fight for control over the Underhive, which is described as a warren of derelict factories, rusted metal husks and forgotten technologies. According to the official blurb, "anarchy, violence, betrayal and death rule this hellish place, long forsaken by any semblance of civilisation."

That's it for now. We don't have any screenshots or a video, but we do know Necromunda: Underhive Wars is planned for PC and consoles. Expect more on 1st February.
