Monolith Soft just announced Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo revealed the following gameplay trailer showing how this open-world RPG sequel will look on its upcoming hardware.

Eurogamer contributor Simon Parkin called 2011's Xenoblade Chronicles a "towering triumph" in his review, noting that "no Japanese RPG has more successfully married its various components this hardware generation."
