Microsoft selling original Xbox One bundles for £180

Cheap as chips.

Following on from September's aggressive original PlayStation 4 bundle sale in UK shops, Microsoft's now selling original 500GB Xbox One bundles for as little as £180 - and in most cases you get a free copy of the superb Forza Horizon 3.

Time to jump in?

Over at the Microsoft Store, Microsoft has the Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle on sale at £179.99 - that's down from £249.99.

Also £179.99 is the Xbox One Quantum Break bundle.

If either of those games don't float your boat, you can go for the Xbox One "name your game" bundle. With this you can pick a game from Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rare Replay.

All those bundles include Forza Horizon 3. Or you can plump for an original Xbox One with a free Forza Horizon 3 and Halo 5. That's £179.99, too.

The 1TB Xbox One bundles are £199.99. For that price you can get a 1TB Xbox One, Gears of War 4 and Forza Motorsport 6. Not bad.

And the Xbox One Elite Bundle is £199.99, down from £299.99. This includes the super expensive Xbox One Elite wireless controller, so it's a pretty good price.

Oh, and remember poor old Kinect? Microsoft's selling the original Xbox One with Kinect bundle, which includes a 500GB console, Kinect sensor, Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon, all for £199.99. That's down from £249.99.

The original Xbox One has now been superseded by the smaller Xbox One S, but if you've been waiting for the cost of entry to drop, now may be a good time to get stuck in.
