Destiny's Halloween update hides a secret racing broom

And there's finally a use for that Box of Raisins.

Eagle-eyed Destiny players have spotted a hidden secret in the game's new Festival of the Lost Halloween event - a special racing broom Sparrow.

The broom Sparrow is a limited-time item which anyone can find by checking the shelves on the right side of the lounge (where the jukebox is) in the Tower. (Here's a more detailed set of instructions.)

Equip it and it'll change your trusty Sparrow vehicle into a Harry Potter-style racing broom, complete the comfy seat attached.

Destiny's Halloween event has also brought with it the expected array of masks, spooky consumables and emotes, along with new looks for your Ghost, plus fresh shaders and emblems.

Some of it you'll get free via quests, other items you'll have to pay real-world money for.

Delightfully, though, Bungie has worked in a use for the Box of Raisins item which slightly-unhinged Dark Below questgiver Eris Morn gifted to players last year.

There's a quest involving said item which players who kept their Box of Raisins safe since last year can get a headstart on (last year's Box has transformed into a new item, Ascendant Raisins, which everyone else can transform a new Box of Raisins from Eris into at the cost of 25 Motes of Light) which results in the elusive Superblack shader.

If you want to know what you get free and what you may need to pay for, Eurogamer's Destiny Festival of the Lost 2016 guide may be of use.
