Half-Life 2 now playable on Xbox One

Orange Box gets backwards compatibility.

You can now play Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal on Xbox One, via Valve's excellent Orange Box collection. The Xbox 360 game is now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

Joe Danger 2: The Movie and Galaga Legions are also available to play on Xbox One via back-compat from today.

If you don't own it already, The Orange Box is one of the best video game compilation discs ever made. Half-Life 2 is still an incredible game, and the Orange Box also includes its Episode One and Episode Two add-ons.

The vanilla Team Fortress 2 is also worth a bash, and Portal is well, as brilliant as its ever been.
