The Witcher 3 - Novigrad: every side quest in the Dockside and Silverton regions

How to find every side quest in the Dockside and Silverton regions of Novigrad in The Witcher 3, and what you need to do to complete them.

Looking for a few more diversions to get stuck into in Novigrad? Here's where you'll find all of the side quests in the Silverton and Dockside sections of this region.

A Walk on the Waterfront and Black Pearl

A Walk on the Waterfront

In the morning, around the south-east corner of the dock area of Novigrad, you'll find a well-dressed fellow being harassed. Talk to one of the people here and have a brief fight to trigger this quest.

This now transforms into a fairly simple escort mission. Follow the nobleman, fending off two waves of attackers as you travel. At the end of the journey, his contact will try and rip him off. Whoever you side with, your reward will be the same.

Black Pearl

Acquire the quest here, then once you've reached Skellige as part of the plot, meet Nidas at the marker and follow him to the oyster bed. Be prepared for some swimming. Dive to the bottom and use your Witcher Senses to highlight some clams, and loot them as you go. Eventually you'll find one with a black pearl inside. Return to the shore where Nidas is under attack from some drowners. Fight them off, talk to Nidas, and then return to Novigrad to collect your reward.

Drunken Rabble and Hey, You Wanna Look at My Stuff?

Drunken Rabble

In the area around the Golden Sturgeon you may get accosted by some drunks. Simply beat them down. Failing to do so may lose you some coin, but winning gains you nothing.

Hey, You Wanna Look at My Stuff?

In a small alcove in the top half of the dock area (directly due south of the eastern-most of the four jetties) is a halfling who'll offer you the deal of a lifetime. Express interest and he'll suddenly run off when the witch hunters show up. Cover for him, then use your Witcher Senses to follow his trail.

Out On Your Arse

Very simple. Beat the Skellidgers up, or just use Axii on them.

Strumpet in Distress

Due south of the Novigrad Docks signpost, you'll overhear a strumpet getting abuse from an armour-clad gent. Butt in, but it turns out whichever option you pick they were just engaging in harmless role play and you've spoiled the deal. Good work.

Warehouse of Woe

Along the city wall in the south-west corner of the dock area you'll come across some guards and a dwarf arguing with a man. Speak to the guard, take the job, and then head into the warehouse.

Defeat the nekker and head to the back left corner of the warehouse. Now use your Witcher Senses to find out what happened, then head back outside. You can either tell the guard what happened or bluff it out - either way the reward is unchanged.
