Pokémon Go's San Diego Comic-Con panel saw Team Leaders revealed

Trading! PokéCenters! Legendaries!

Are you Team Valor, Team Mystic, or did you slip up and choose Team Instinct?

Whichever Pokémon Go team you're on, you now have a leader to pledge your services.

Each of the three will be appearing in Pokémon Go within the near future, developer Niantic told a sold-out San Diego Comic-Con panel audience over the weekend.

The leaders will pop up to offer players advice, although exactly what other roles they'll play is unknown.

Only around 10 per cent of the ideas Niantic has for the game are currently present in Pokémon Go, boss John Hanke said (thanks, ComicBook.com).

Upcoming features include improved training, a fix for the three-step bug, and improvements to stop the constant gym poaching.

Pokéstops will also get more interesting, with the addition of PokéCenters which heal your critters, among other things.

Legendary monsters are also on the way - although Niantic is waiting for Pokémon Go to finish rolling out worldwide before it releases any.

Finally, Hanke apologised for the server issues the game had when it launched - "we weren't provisioned for what happened", he admitted.

"Always spin, use the lucky eggs, and keep in mind the spirit of the game," he concluded.

In other Pokémon Go news today, slowpoke Nintendo investors have caused the company's share price to plummet after finally discovering the app wasn't actually made by Nintendo.
