Dishonored 2 reveals star-studded voice cast

Includes original Thief actor who wasn't hired for the 2014 reboot.

Dishonored 2 has assembled a helluva cast to bring its characters to life.

Before they get all the limelight (again) it's worth noting that Stephen Russell has been picked to play the game's de facto lead character Corvo - though you can play as Emily Kaldwin in Dishonored 2 as well.

Russell was the voice of Garrett in the original Thief games - games that heavily inspired Dishonored. But Russell was not hired to reprise the role for the Thief reboot in 2014 - a game that suffered "greatly" in comparison to Dishonored.

Of the star-studded cast it's Sam Rockwell that's probably best known - the frenetic actor who starred in Moon, Seven Psychopaths and, further back, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and The Green Mile. He's playing Mortimer Ramsey, Dunwall City Watch, according to GameInformer.

Rockwell is joined by Daredevil's Wilson Fisk and Claire Temple - real names Vincent D'Onofrio and Rosario Dawson. D'Onofrio will be Luca Abele, Duke of Serkonos, and Dawson will be Meagan Foster, Dreadful Wale Captain.

Also in the line-up is Pedro Pascal, who I thought was wonderful in Narcos as Javier Pena. He was Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, too.

Jamie Hector (Marlo in The Wire), Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot in Gotham) and Erica Luttrell (Keesha in The Magic School Bus) are also in although I haven't seen them in action before - yes I know I'm committing some kind of sin by not having seen The Wire. They will play the Vice Overseer, the Outsider and Emily Kaldwin respectively.

Dishonored 2 will be released 11th November worldwide.
