Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty drizzled onto PlayStation Vita today

Abe escapes.

Abe's Oddysee remake Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is available now on PlayStation Vita, following its earlier launches on PC, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One.

The handheld version is a Cross-buy title, so anyone with the game's PS3 or PS4 editions will be able to download it without charge.

Or, if you want it fresh, you can pick it up now for £15.99.

There are a few changes - the dialled back visuals now deliberately resemble more of the 1997 Oddworld. New 'n' Tasty's controls have been tightened up and there are quick save and load options, similar to the PS4 edition.

"More than anything, what really stands out about Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! is the sheer coherency of the original design," Chris Donlan wrote of the game's PS4 edition back in 2014. "This strange game has lost none of its ornery charm or righteous anger."
