Don't Starve: Shipwrecked dated for December on Early Access

Adds "new seasons, creatures, biomes, and many other exciting ways to die."

Don't Starve: Shipwrecked, the next DLC expansion to Klei Entertainment's popular survival roguelike, is coming to Steam Early Access on 1st December.

This Early Access launch will only support the Windows version of the game, with Mac and Linux versions to follow.

Developed in conjunction with Capy (Super Time Force, Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery), Don't Starve: Shipwrecked places protagonist Wilson on a tropical archipelago and will add "new seasons, creatures, biomes, and many other exciting ways to die."

Don't Starve: Shipwrecked is single-player only and will not work with Don't Starve Together, the game's multiplayer variant.

Regarding a console or mobile edition of this expansion, Klei stated in its FAQ "We'd love to, but right now we're focused on making the PC version as good as it can be."
