Video: Games, cognitive therapy and motivation - Low Batteries episode 2

How game theory can help disrupt a downward spiral.

Before I introduce the second episode of Low Batteries, our video series on games and mental health, I'd just like to take a moment to thank all those who watched the first one. The response was better than I could have possibly hoped. Thank you.

Along with some very kind words, I also saw a number of people in the comments of episode one - which was about games as a support mechanism for low mood - saying that they often found themselves too low to even attempt playing video games.

Those comments got me thinking about gamification theory and how it ties into existing therapeutic techniques designed to help motivate people suffering from depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. Hopefully episode two will prove useful. As ever, your thoughts and episode suggestions are very much appreciated.
