All five République episodes to be collected for PS4 next year

Publisher signs up for stealth game's final episodes.

All five episodes of stealth action game République will launch via a complete package on PlayStation 4 in 2016.

Three episodes of the game have launched so far over the past two years, for iOS, Android, PC and Mac.

Two more are planned and Puzzle & Dragons outfit GungHo has just announced that it will help with publishing duties.

République is the work of indie studio Camouflaj, which was founded by Metal Gear Solid 4 producer and Halo 4 creative director Ryan Payton.

"Camouflaj's rapidly growing reputation for creating thought-provoking, yet accessible content perfectly aligns with GungHo's vision for our expanding game portfolio," said the publisher's boss Jun Iwasaki.

"We've been longtime fans of République, especially its sophisticated writing and the atmospheric world, which is why we're so excited to work together with Camouflaj moving forward."

There's no word yet on when République's fourth episode will arrive, but this announcement suggests that we will be hearing more sooner rather than later.

"It has a strong, interesting female lead, a story that is smart but also funny, and gameplay that takes full advantage of the iOS platform while still delivering the depth and variety you'd expect from a major console release," Dan Whitehead wrote in his review of République: Episode 1.
