EGX 2015: HTC Vive playable, Valve dev session on VR

Virtual insanity.

This year's EGX, the UK games festival formerly known as the Eurogamer Expo (and run by our parent company Gamer Network), will see the HTC Vive playable. Its the first time the UK public will be able to try out Valve's virtual reality experience.

Eurogamer's intrepid editor Oli Welsh braved Valve's HTC Vive at EGX Rezzed in London and came away a changed man.

Meanwhile, the September 2015 show - which will be the first to take place at Birmingham's NEC after the untimely demise of our previous home, London's Earls Court - will see a developer session with Valve's Chet Faliszek, who starred at EGX Rezzed earlier this year. His talk is titled, "The year ahead in VR", and is set to begin at 3pm on Thursday, 24th. Here's a line on the talk from Chet:

"With so much information out there, let's talk about what it all means and hopefully clear up some confusion."

For a taster, here's Chet's talk from Rezzed.
