ZombiU is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in August

Ubisoft's wonderful Wii U launch title ZombiU is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on 18th August with a minor name change removing the superfluous U from its title.

Previously it was leaked via a ratings board, but now we have official confirmation from Ubisoft. There's even a trailer.

Zombi, as it's now called, will be a digital only affair. It certainly looks better than its 2012 Wii U counterpart, though there's no mistaking it for a triple A game on these more powerful pieces of hardware.

One wonders if this port will find enough success for Ubisoft to resurrect the cancelled sequel, which had planned to add co-op to the zombie apocalypse.

Eurogamer contributor Rich Stanton really liked ZombiU upon its initial release. "ZombiU isn't the obligatory FPS launch title, but an original twist on the genre that has no console equivalent," he wrote in his glowing ZombiU review.
