Detective video game Her Story out this month

Busted.

Her Story, the detective game from Sam Barlow, the writer and lead designer of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, is out this month.

Her Story comes out 24th June on PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone. A new trailer is below.

The game plays like an interactive true crime documentary. You dig into a police database full of live action video footage of a 1994 interrogation of a woman, played by actress Viva Seifert, whose husband went missing. The footage has been chopped up, her testimony analysed by speech recognition software, and her words attached to each clip. The story, and who you are, remains ambiguous - deliberately.

I had a chat with Barlow back in February about Her Story and the way it does detective crime drama differently.
