Adventures of Pip PC/Mac release date set for next week

Wii U version dated for North America, but not Europe.

Action-platformer Adventures of Pip is set for a 4th June release on PC and Mac, where it can be pre-ordered for £10.99 / $14.99.

Tic Toc Games expects Adventures of Pip to last somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 hours.

Its Wii U version will follow on 11th June in North America, though developer Tic Toc Games noted that it does not yet have a release date for Wii U in Europe. PS4 and Xbox One release dates are likewise unknown at this time.

Developed by several ex-staffers at WayForward Technologies (Bloodrayne: Betrayal, Mighty Switch Force), Adventures of Pip stars the titular hero who begins his journey as a one-pixel square, but can absorb the pixels of his fallen foes to transform into an increasingly fleshed out figure.

In his smallest "Featherweight" form Pip can fit into tight spaces; medium-sized "Thrillseeker" Pip can punch, sprint and wall-jump; and "Heavy" Pip is armed with a sword and can push and smash blocks.

Adventures of Pip is the brainchild of Marc Gomez, art director of A Boy and His Blob, BloodRayne: Betrayal, and animation director on Contra 4. Meanwhile, the soundtrack is composed by Jake "virt" Kaufman, the maestro behind Shovel Knight, Bloodrayne: Betrayal, and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.

The game previously raised $65,974 on Kickstarter, well surpassing its $40K goal.
