Samurai Warriors 4-2 coming to Europe in October

Musou horny?

UPDATE: Koei Tecmo has also revealed Euro release dates for three more titles. Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence is coming to PS3, PS4 and Steam on 4th September, Ar Nosurge Plus comes to Vita on 1st July, and Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 hits Vita and 3DS on 24th June. Trailers for all three will be showing at Koei Tecmo's booth at the London MCM Expo.

ORIGINAL STORY: Koei Tecmo's spin-off sidequel Samurai Warriors 4-2 is getting a localised European release for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on 2nd October, according to a post on the company's official Facebook page. The game is also coming to Steam on the same day.

The confusingly named Samurai Warriors 4 II came out in Japan in February, and marked the end of the franchise's 10th anniversary celebrations. It contains a completely new story mode featuring 13 chapters, each offering five character-driven missions. It also boasts a host of improvements and additions, ranging from camera and AI tweaks to new gameplay features such as online and local co-op in all modes and power-boosting Awakening Skills.

You won't be able to carry across your saves from Samurai Warriors 4, but it will detect those saves and start you off with 10,000 gold and all twenty skill books as a reward.

If you're attending the London MCM Expo this weekend, you'll be among the first to get a chance to play the European version. If not, you'll just have to make do with this Japanese trailer and some patience.
