This year's Call of Duty has been revealed as Black Ops 3, which is set in a troubled futuristic world that is distinct from the troubled futuristic world of Advanced Warfare; soldiers with Exo suits are out, soldiers with robots arms are very much in. As with all Call of Duty trailers, the first one for Black Ops 3 is choppy and chaotic. Let us make sense of it for you.
Robot arms are bang on trend here in 2015 (hello also to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided), but back in the mid 1990s, the new hotness was full motion video games. Every so often an unwitting Hollywood star would agree to appear in one of these FMV games, and for each of these occasions there was presumably a disgraced talent agent on the job market the following Monday. Behold these Hollywood stars who thought live-action games were a good idea.
Finally this week, we return to GTA Online, where we are embroiled in the setup for a thrilling heist on animal testing facility Humane Labs. According to our heist coordinator, we now need to drive to the labs to park our stolen EMP device in a garage. So, who is up for a long drive to the countryside with an EMP bomb in the back? Anyone?
